About me

Hola, bonjour, cześć! Hi! I’m Heather, and welcome to my corner of the internet. I’m here because I’ve been saying for years that I should start a blog, and it’s finally time to prove my husband wrong! Ha. Who knows, maybe someday I’ll even write that book I always talk about…

I am a married (to Cameron) mother of 3 (Jackson, Charlotte, Cassidy) but I don’t let that stop me from being an adventure-loving, wandering soul. I’d love to share some of our adventures with you, and maybe help those of you with children see that traveling with small children is still possible, with lots of preparation and much lower expectations. Just kidding. Kinda.

I am a citizen of the world. And I want my children to be raised knowing that they are too, and that they can go out and see the world. And there is good in the creation that God created. Is traveling with kids hard? Obviously. Do we repeatedly question why we do it? Lately, yes. But is it worth it? Absolutely.

As I researched and prepared for a family trip to Scandinavia in October of 2022, I realized there was a lack of the nitty gritty details of traveling with young children out there (and specifically traveling with twins 2 or under). It’s a special kind of chaos, but my husband and I can’t stop traveling and it’s hard to travel without the kids in tow. I hope I can inspire and prepare more of you as we continue to visit everywhere on our list!
